Just like that, I said something that may have changed someone’s life.

It wasn’t planned.

It was just the right thing to say at the right time.

And then just like that, someone said something to me that may have changed MY life.

The power of my network. I never appreciated it until this week. And I certainly never understood how to wield it.

Twenty years (yikes) into my career, and some simple conversations have started putting some vision to an otherwise blurry picture of what my future may hold.

This Single Working Mom has been working pretty damn hard, raising two kids and gathering some pretty amazing insights in her quest to figure out what she wants to do when she grows up. And that, my friends, is worth sharing.
