About The Author | Beth Tancredi

“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.” – When Harry Met Sally

Beth Tancredi won her first creative writing award in the third grade for a short children’s story called A Pet for Me. The book scored her a seat at a Young Author’s Conference in Connecticut and opened her up to a lifelong love of writing.

Following her graduation from Ithaca College, she retired her creative pen to start her career. She has spent the last 20 years working in broadcast, print and digital media, financial services and health care.

In 2016, Beth picked up her pen again and began blogging as Single Working Mom at the urging of her friend and former colleague. A year later, Beth published her first book, Pursuing My Wonderful, that compares the steps taken to turn her passion into a business to post-divorce dating.

Beth has two children, Nick and Chris, and is a long-time resident of the Jersey Shore. She is available for ghostwriting and editing books, blogging or digital/print marketing copy.
